The head of the SAP of Ukraine resigned

The head of the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office (SAP) of Ukraine, Deputy Prosecutor General of the country Nazar Kholodnitsky resigned. This was reported on August 21 by the Ukrainian news agency, citing a source in the office of the prosecutor general. He wrote a resignation report, a source told reporters. According to him, the official will leave his post from September 1. Kholodnitsky later confirmed that the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova dismissed him from his post in accordance with a previously filed report. He wrote about this on his page on the social network Facebook. Recall that information about the resignation of Kholodnitsky appeared at the beginning of 2020. The likely reason for the resignation could be the conflict between the head of the SAP and the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) Artyom Sytnik.
