Kim Jong-un's younger sister is the second person in the DPRK - Asahi

Kim Yo-jung, the younger sister of DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, is currently the second person in the state. This is claimed on April 22 in the Japanese edition of Asahi. According to journalists, as early as late 2019, at the plenum of the Central Committee of the Labour Party of Korea (TPC), it was decided to transfer power to Kim Yo-jung in case her older brother was unable to perform the role of head of state. The indirect proof of this fact is the more frequent appearance of the girl in public space, as well as the more frequent appearance of her name in important documents of the country. We remind that earlier Kim Yo-jung served as Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Agitation Department of the TPC, and since the end of 2019 became the First Deputy Head of the Organizational Department of the Central Committee of the Party. It should also be noted that in recent days the media, in particular CNN, have reported on the deterioration of Kim Jong-un's health, which has given rise to reflection on the future of the DPRK.
