6 more people suspected of coronavirus hospitalized in Moldova
Six citizens of Moldova were hospitalized on May 9 in the Infectious Hospital of Chisinau with suspicion of COVID-19 infection. According to the news agency in the Ministry of Health of Moldova, doctors took laboratory tests. According to Health Minister Vioriki Dumbravyan, earlier tests of four people suspected of having a COVID-19 turned out to be negative. So far, there are six people with suspected coronavirus who have been taken to the Metropolitan Infectious Hospital with border checkpoints, she said. The Minister also reported that 17 citizens of Moldova who were travelling by bus from Italy were quarantined in Romania after one of the passengers was found to have a high temperature. Recall, on March 7 in Moldova revealed the first case of coronavirus in a woman who arrived from Italy. The orange code of danger of coronavirus spread has been introduced in the Republic, and the authorities are looking for passengers of the Milan-Chisinau flight who flew with the sick. Many of them cannot be found because they have indicated false data and addresses in epidemiological maps under border control. In neighboring Romania, all flights to and from Italy were completely cancelled. It should be noted that Italy has a large number of gastarbeiters from Moldova and Romania.
