Chinese hydrologists predict the spill of the Yellow River during the flood season

The second longest river in China, the Yellow River, is preparing to enter the flood season, Xinhua News Agency reported on July 2. The current flood season threatens to last until October 31 of this year, the Commission for the Protection of the Yellow River under the Ministry of Water Resources of the PRC in the province of Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, said. The hydrometeorological administration predicts an increase in precipitation in the Yellow River basin during the flood season and a high probability of showers and floods in the upper and middle reaches of the river over the indicated period. Local authorities will continue to predict the situation, as well as work to minimize the risks and consequences of floods during the flood season on the Yellow River.

Volker placed Georgia in Eastern Europe and supported its accession to the EU

Georgia is doing a lot to join the European Union (EU) and more other Eastern European countries are worthy to join the EU. This opinion was expressed on February 15 by the former representative of the State Department for Ukraine Kurt Walker in Munich, where he participates in the security conference, journalists of the Georgian Public Television channel.
