Malaysian Ministry of Education announces opening of schools in Malaysia

The Ministry of Education of Malaysia announced that schools in the country will open on June 24, 2020, reports Antara. It is known that students who pass state exams will return to schools, namely: a certificate of education, a certificate of vocational training, a certificate of secondary education and a certificate of international exams. In addition, the period of the second intermediate school holidays will be reduced from nine to five days for Group A schools (Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Trenganu) and Group B (Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarauak, Selangor, Year-end holidays for schools in group A will be reduced from 42 to 14 days, while in group B schools from 41 to 13 days. According to the news agency, the Malaysian authorities agreed to open public and private pools, starting July 1, 2020.
