There was a forest fire in South Korea
In the South Korean city of Andon, Gyeongsan Pukto Province burned down about 100 hectares of forest in 24 hours. This is reported by Yonhap News with reference to representatives of the City Hall of Gyeongsan-Pukto Province. According to them, the fire, which began 15:39 local time on April 24, managed to extinguish only April 25 closer to 6:00 local time. Nineteen helicopters, thirty units of fire equipment and about 800 members of the fire brigade are known to have been used to extinguish the forest fire. It is noted that 200 people were evacuated from nearby regions due to the fire. Damage and destruction of property are not reported.
