Head of Zelenskiy Office: Contact with Russia is one of the priorities

The new head of President Zelenskiy's office, Andrei Yermak, will continue negotiations with Russia, as nothing is more important to Ukraine today than ending the war. He said this at a briefing today, February 12, the correspondent news agency reports. Yermak said that contact with Russia is one of the priority areas of his work. I will not leave this direction. I have not yet spoken to Mr. Kozak after his and my appointment. I think I will have such an opportunity, the official also said. According to him, regardless of who will represent Russia in the negotiations on the settlement of Minsk and in the Normandy format, the principles declared by President Zelenskiy for Ukraine are unchanged. The news agency recalls that a whole group of experts and politicians accused Yermak of holding pro-Russian views. The loudest speech was made by former President Poroshenko, who said that the appointment of a new head of Green's office would lead to an early surrender to Russia.
