Typhoon Haishen: mass evacuation in Japan
In Japan, 1.6 million people in six prefectures in southwestern Japan were ordered to immediately evacuate due to Typhoon Haishen, approaching the region, NHK reported. On September 6, around noon, Moscow time, evacuation orders were received by residents of cities in Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Oita, Miyazaki, Kagoshima prefectures. In addition, warnings for immediate evacuation were sent to more than 5.6 million people in 10 prefectures. Due to Typhoon Haishen, traffic on the railway was stopped, air traffic was canceled.
