According to Novak, SP-2 is a commercial project that will serve Europe and its energy security, as well as promote competition and competition, since in this case there will be more supply routes and lower gas prices. Sanctions and their tightening against Nord Stream 2 are absolutely illegal and completely inadequate. This is pure protectionism, he said. The head of the Russian Ministry of Energy also noted that the United States is trying to impose its liquefied natural gas or other projects on Europe with its sanctions. This is an interference with the sovereignty of European countries, Novak concluded.
