The decision to increase the fine for the lack of a medical mask was made by the Government of Israel. This was announced on June 22 by the press service of the country's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Netanyahu held a cabinet meeting on issues related to the threat of the spread of coronavirus. The session discussed a number of steps to be taken to improve the epidemiological situation in the country and the likely scenario. During the meeting, a number of decisions were adopted, which enter into force immediately. In particular, fines for the lack of medical masks were increased to 500 shekels (about 10 thousand rubles), previously the fine was 200 shekels. An inspection will also be carried out in the so-called potential restricted areas and a number of measures to protect at-risk groups. Earlier, the news agency reported on the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Israel.
