27 new coronavirus infections identified in Kosovo


On the evening of 1 June, the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo reported that 172 new cases of coronavirus infection in 24 hours had been detected as a result of a survey of 27 samples in the province. According to Albanian news agency Telegrafi, a total of 1,100 coronavirus infections have been recorded in Kosovo. 30 people died as a result of complications caused by COVID-19. Since May 28, the individual schedule of citizens entering the street has been cancelled in the province, and the activities of cafes and restaurants have been allowed. The quarantine is expected to be cancelled by the end of May.

Volker placed Georgia in Eastern Europe and supported its accession to the EU

Georgia is doing a lot to join the European Union (EU) and more other Eastern European countries are worthy to join the EU. This opinion was expressed on February 15 by the former representative of the State Department for Ukraine Kurt Walker in Munich, where he participates in the security conference, journalists of the Georgian Public Television channel. It is indeed clear that in Eastern Europe Georgia deserves more than others to be a member of the European Union family and transatlantic institutions. Georgia does a lot to do that, Volker said.
