In the United States, the court approved the recovery of $5 billion from Facebook due to the transfer of personal data

The legality of the decision of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the USA to recover from Facebook a fine of $5 billion confirmed by the Federal Court of the country, on April 24 reported on the website of FTC. In addition, the court reminded the company of its obligations with regard to confidential data, as well as the transparency of decisions taken in relation to the protection of this information. According to the news agency, the decision of FTC to recover from Facebook a fine for violation in processing of personal data of users was made as early as July 2019.
