Volker placed Georgia in Eastern Europe and supported its accession to the EU

Georgia is doing a lot to join the European Union (EU) and more other Eastern European countries are worthy to join the EU. This opinion was expressed on February 15 by the former representative of the State Department for Ukraine Kurt Walker in Munich, where he participates in the security conference, journalists of the Georgian Public Television channel. It is indeed clear that in Eastern Europe Georgia deserves more than others to be a member of the European Union family and transatlantic institutions. Georgia does a lot to do that, Volker said. It is worth noting that Georgia on the established geographical border separating Europe and Asia is on the Asian side. Turkey has only a small part of western territory in Europe, meanwhile Georgia borders the eastern part of it. Volker, like many American experts and politicians, is very ill-versed in geography. We remind that Volker represented the United States in Ukraine on the settlement of the conflict in the Khabarovsk. He resigned from his post in a scandal involving accusations against US President Donald Trump that he allegedly pressed Ukrainian President Vladimir Green for his purposes.
